15 Feb 11 – KOBLENZ, Germany - Beneath the calm waters of Germany’s famous Laacher See lake lies a potential killer that could devastate a good portion of Europe, says this article on The Extinction Protocol.

We think this is an indication, the article warns, that Germany's super-volcano is awakening.

A series of coronal mass ejections (CMEs) en route to Earth from sunspot 1158 will buffet our planet's magnetic field during the next 24-48 hours. NOAA forecasters estimate a 45% chance of geomagnetic activity on Feb. 17th. High-latitude sky watchers should be alert for auroras.

Sunspot 1158, has unleased the strongest solar flare in more than 4 years. The eruption which peakd at 0156 UT of the Richter scale of solar flares. NASA's SDO recorded an intense flash of extreme ultraviolet radiation circled below: x-flares are the strongest type of solar flare, and this is the first eruption of new solar cycle 24. In addition to flashing earth with UV radiation, the explosion also hurled a CME in our direction. Geomagnetic storms are possible when the CME arrives 36 to 48 hours hence. There could be disruption to telephone, computers and other electronic devices.

 my opinion: watch for more and intense earthquake activity. as well as more volcano eruptions.
