I have a difficult time trying to figure out the elusive Nancy. I have been following Zetatalk since around 2002, I have heard all of the C2C interviews, her own clips, other radio shows. Here is a lady, clearly a real person of an older age with this webpage containing thousands of pages of 'information'.
I will not lie, I am and always have been impressed with some of the things on her website. Mostly because a lot of the explanations are just so imaginative that I have a hard time comprehending how just one aged lady could come up with it. I consider myself to be a rather intelligent and creative person - but when I see the explanation on say, the cause of the 'great flood' written of in tradition - Ice honeycombing in Antarctica when the pole was more of water, breaking off and causing a tsunami - I have to scratch my head. Why? Simply because it is such a creative explanation found nowhere else.
Does this mean it's true? Does this mean she channels Zetas? I have no idea. I have often thought that perhaps she has a team, or she is the front lady for a government controlled experiment. Then I hear old interviews and i think "It's just a 'nice old lady!"
So much information on the site can be seen as a mere extension on Velikovsky and Sitchen's concepts. This is true.
Over a year ago I regularly posted on the PS ning, I then stopped posting for a few months because life was too busy, yet I continued to read and research of course. When I started posting again, in the span of 24 hours I had 4-5 of my posts and comments deleted with warnings from the mods sent my way.
I emailed Nancy, and in a polite, thoughtful and articulate manner I explained to her that in my opinion some of the mods had become cultish - which went directly against all of the previous Zetatalk material. Holding Nancy on a pedestal when she is just a women.
This banter went back and forth, privately, between myself, Nancy and some of the mods for a bit - until Nancy (I am assuming) sent me an email calling me names. I was shocked and kind of..well, hurt? I don't think anybody has called me an idiot before lol.
I moved on, no grudges.
Prior to the Planet X hypothesis becoming main stream I talked about it a lot with friends - now everybody knows about it. Before that I was a strong proponent of the Isostasy explanation (to explain lost civilizations and global mythology). The planet x model just fit better - because of the dust, meteorites and planetary symbolism shared cross-culturally. Even now I cannot think of a better model that explains everything, and yet I realise it could be completely false and fabricated.
For myself, I go by geological, archaeological and mythological and oral traditions to show evidences in the past of the crust shifting. I like to point this stuff out to people - and let them decide on the causal explanations.
I still do, to this day read the zetatalk stuff and keep up to date. Because I find it interesting while being sceptical - mainly because of the negative words shared towards myself.
When I lived out West I had met up with Mr Wakefield, we had coffee and chatted. He seemed like a really nice gentlemen - and it was quite extraordinary being able to talk about such fringe subjects with someone, in person, who understood and did research as well.
Chris later went on to make his new ning, where he claimed to channel Jesus and talked of Nancy's death - and that he now channelled Zetatalk. That was too much for me.
I am suspect of people who make such bold claims openly - because a lot of people are looking for someone to lead them instead of researching themselves. Perhaps it is a personal issue why I am suspect? I know myself, I have been interested in UFO's and Aliens since I was a child. I had sleep paralysis on a regular basis until I was 21 years old. When I was 14 I was on my parents front porch waiting for my neighbour to 'sneak' out so we could run the streets - when I remember seeing all of these coloured lights over me. My next memory is of being in bed.
Perhaps I am suspicious because I do not have 'channelling' abilities. Though I believe in lots of fringe ideas, UFO's, I believe I am a "contactee" though I do or cannot speak to them? As far as I am consciously aware, at any rate.I remain sceptical, or at least try to - on everything I look into. As someone who is interested, or obsessed, with epistemology - the construction of knowledge, paradigms and the unconscious patterning of human behavior - I realise that I too am not outside of this phenomenon. I realise my entire gestalt is just that, and could no more be closer to Truth then any other. This is a troublesome thought btw!

"Normal" meaning what? That "normal" readers don't believe all info on ZT is untrue? If ZT says something that is common sense, that anyone would know to stay away from nuclear plants, coastal areas and volcanic areas, then common sense has become ZT? Therefore, your conclusion is illogical. One does not follow the other.
Speaking as a normal reader, not all info on Zeta is untrue. For example, there is advice to stay away from nuclear plants, coastal areas and volcano area. Therefore, Zeta is not going to kill all human.
